This review explores the potential health benefits, bioavailability, and alternative applications of grape bioactive compounds, including polyphenols, anthocyanins, resveratrol, and quercetin. The article summarizes the antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects of grape components, along with their contributions to cardiovascular health and wound healing. The bioavailability section addresses absorption challenges and strategies to overcome them. Beyond nutrition, grapes are also utilized in various industrial fields such as cosmetics, medical equipment, textiles, and food packaging. Regulatory frameworks and maximum dosage limits have also been examined. In conclusion, grape bioactives hold significant potential for health and industrial innovation. However, further scientific studies are needed for a complete understanding of their mechanisms, standardization of dosages, and broader regulatory acceptance.
